You can and deserve to have an empowering and fulfilling experience no matter how your birth unfolds! The first step is gaining the knowledge and tools you'll need- your birth essentials. Join us for an informative, relaxing and fun tour through all things birth, starting with ways to prepare your body and mind for a smoother experience, how to recognize the signs of early labor, and what you can expect in each stage. We'll cover coping strategies, what to bring or have with you, how to explore your birth preferences, and how to gracefully navigate changes in plans. You'll also learn what happens after baby arrives, about postpartum healing and wellness, and ways to ease this major transition for both parents and child. This class is offered as a single 6 hour Saturday session (with a 1 hr lunch break), or broken into two parts on consecutive Thursday evenings. Please bring a pillow and a yoga mat or blanket for comfortable hands-on practice.
